ISEC together with Forsmark NPP will be hosting an event this January where over 20 operators, engineers, and NPP personnel will be discussing the installation of ISEC's AVISS software video management system, radiatiton tolerant cameras, and video surveillance systems. The event is expected to run for 3 days at which time attendees will be able to see first hand the power and versatility of ISEC's proven video management system for nuclear power plants.

Radiation tolerant cameras in process areas

Lowering down time for NPP's is something that is feasible when plant managers realize that by adding a good radiation tolerant camera system such as ISEC's ICM 2009, they can continue to run the process (even with faults in many cases) as they have an extra set of eyes and ears within the containment area.
ISEC Industrial Security AB has been offering radiation hardened camera systems to nuclear power plants throughout Europe and Asia allowing process managers to continually increase or maintain high outputs that would have otherwise not been possible.
